Bloom: Labyrinth is a board game where the game board comprises a maze constructed from both stationary and movable pieces. Players strategically rearrange the maze by shifting a row of pieces during their turn. Each player possesses a token that they navigate through the labyrinth. The primary objective for players is to collect treasures scattered throughout the maze and then return to their respective starting points. These treasures are depicted on the cards initially dealt to each player at the game's outset.

Players are only privy to the card displaying their current destination, revealing it upon arrival and subsequently drawing a new card from their deck. When other players observe an empty card deck, they typically attempt to impede the leading player's progress back to the starting point. Advanced players may even try to guess the destinations of fellow players to complicate their moves or corner them in dead-end paths.

This game, known as "Das verrückte Labyrinth" in German (a play on words meaning "labyrinthal disorder"), was designed by the German psychologist Max Kobbert and published by Ravensburger. In English-speaking regions, it was initially titled "THE aMAZEing LABYRINTH," but subsequent versions dropped the pun.

Gameplay:

Ravensburger has released various labyrinth-themed games following the success of this one, including Master Labyrinth (1991), Junior Labyrinth (1995), Secret Labyrinth (1998), Labyrinth Card Game (2000), 3-D Labyrinth (2002), Lord of the Rings Labyrinth, Labyrinth Treasure Hunt (2005), and another Master Labyrinth (2007), this time with a dragon theme.

At one point, there were plans for a Nintendo DS version of the board game, but it was ultimately not released. Additionally, the game served as a project for freshman-level CS students at the RIT CS department in 2009-2010, implemented in the Python programming language.

In 2010, LEGO introduced the game Harry Potter Hogwarts (number 3862), which adopted a similar game mechanic. Players must collect one copy of each of four items and return to their starting position, with dice rolls determining how they can alter the board layout at the start of each turn.
